Anyone running the Rugged Obsidian 9? The Rugged seems like a killer deal with the promo package going on right now. I know a few on here are running the Dead Air Wolf and seem pretty happy. With the Dead Air I would have to spend an addition $110 to get their 3 lug mount. Total value of the Obsidian 9 promotional accessories package is $350.00. Plus, Rugged is offering their promotional accessories kit which includes (1) M13.5×1 LH Piston, (1) 3 Lug Mount, (1) Combo Tool, (1) Fixed Barrel Spacer, and (1) 5/8×24 Fixed Mount. However, the Rugged is priced at $581 and the Dead Air at $799. ![]() Unfortunately the dealer was out of the Rugged Obsidian 9 so I did not get to do a side by side comparison with the Dead Air Wolf. I mostly will use it in the full configuration but do like the option of switching to a K config if needed. I like both of these cans and got to demo the Dead Air Wolf SD on Saturday at the local gun shop on an MP5. ![]()
